Live in true comfort

No more impulse eating and fat girl thinking. Saying "Yes!" to me.

After 20 years of fat gains, losses, and more gains I've finally overcome emotional eating and am living a healthy lifestyle. I never believed this day would come. NEVER. Yes, for others, but I thought I was too weak. From the ashes of sadness, pessimism and despair have come joy and hope, something I want to share with sparkfriends.

I'm a homeschooling mother of many with 100 pounds left to lose. In my "before kids" days I worked as a researcher in one of the sciences. I gave up my position 15 years ago to homeschool and started putting on the weight. Bad habits, boredom, and forgetting to care for myself have resulted in my being uncomfortable in this body. I'm enjoying meeting new spark friends and am finding the journey much easier this time thanks to the community here.

Yes, 2000 is a lot (although there are many here who do way more than that)

I don't workout on Sundays, my day of rest! I haven't figured out daily but it's like doing 6o min 3 days a week and 90 another 3. I try to wake up early and use my treadmill. I'll watch an older Biggest Loser episode and walk for 60. If waking up early doesn't fit in my schedule (sometimes with the unkown it just isn't conducive to wake up at 4:30) then I'll do workout DVDs for 15 min at a time throughout the day or take the kids on a walk if its nice (today was the first time in awhile)

For me I know I HAVE TO exercise to get the results I want. And with my busy schedule that usually means waking at 4:30 to fit it in.
