Trying Again

I am the mother to a beautiful little 8 month baby girl. She's my pride and joy and I want to become a healthier woman and to be able to set positive examples for her in the future. On a more vain note - I want the body back that I had 5 years ago when I was more active, healthy and consistent with my diet.

2. Playing with my daughter on the floor and feeling comfortable
3. Having more energy.
4. Feeling like the "old" more active me
5. Being strong
6. Fitting into hot jeans again
7. Having a more positive attitude
8. Pride in my accomplishments
9. Fitting into my old jeans (I can now...barely, but I CAN!)
10. Knowing I'm fueling my body with good foods, no crap.

There is one good reason to lose this weight - one for every pound I've lost so far. And the list shall continue...

Thank you for the response to my blog. I will admit that when I first read your comments I was a little upset. I was thinking "How dare she?!" The more I thought about it the more I realized how right you are. I am giving up way too much control in my life. If I don't like the way my boyfriend is handling things I need to do something about it. Either that or I need to shut up and let him do things as he sees fit.

One of my goals for 2009 is to stop the negativity that comes from within me. Your words were just what I needed to hear to get that kicked into gear.
