Thought I'd give this a try...

Hi everyone! I'm Ashley and I've been Sparking since January 2011. I l love it here! I've learned a lot from the SP community and I'd like to think I've helped out some fellow Sparkers, too.

I'm in my third year of grad school, so life is hectic, but I try not to let it get in the way of my workout routine. Yoga, running, skiing and climbing are some of my favorite activities, and I love a long hike in the woods, too.

Feel free to stop by and say hello - I'm ...

Hi, Smash ! Thanks for commenting on my blog ! Don't let that 4 pound "gain" get you down. it's probably nothing more than a temporary water weight gain. I can easily gain 3-4 pounds in a day !
it's not a fat gain. it's not a muscle gain either. not overnight.

You're going to see many fluctuations in the scale and that's perfectly normal. A big increase or decrease is almost always water related especially when it's really hot out like it's been.

glad you're strength training ! I love it.

Thanks for the encouragement. I really appreciate it. This weight loss thing is so hard going it alone so the support is really appreciated. emoticon
