I AM BACK! For real this time...

I am a 30 year old weight watcher from Poco B.C. who lost 40 pounds a few years back. I joined Spark people last fall and was successful. I took a bit of a hiatus over the later part of the fall and over Christmas. Put on a few pounds. No sweat...no worries! I am back! I am looking to get back on track and back into my momentum. I realize it isn't necessarily about getting back into those old jeans (its quicker to just buy new ones...something I did) but rather feeling good about myself and getting into and maintaining a 'healthy' state of mind.

I am tired of feeling gross...need to get my life organized and get me back on track!

My Goals:
Originally my goal was to get back into my size 6 jeans and have my clothes fit normally again. It is important..

But now this journey has become about more then just losing the weight. Its become about wanting to work on improving my overall self. I want to eat better..work out...and gain a healthier perspective on my life in general. I want to try new things and 'grow' into the grown up life I've always wanted and envisioned myself living. I want to be 'better' and strive to be the 'best'!


My Program:
I am recording everything I eat on the spark people calorie counter thingy...keeping my calorie intake between 1200-1500.

I hope to start some weight training and get back into running a few times a week.

I am a 31 year old nurse from Port Coquitlam BC. I am married (2.5 years) and have a 5 month old yellow lab named Odie who I am hoping will one day be my running partner.

    In scanning the members you stood out because of the dog. My wife and I are dog people. We have three dogs, all rescued. One of our babies is a lab/golden retriver mix. I have to take some pictures and post them to my page. Careful with runing the dog. I heard dogs are sprinters not joggers. A dog can be hurt by jogging because they don't sweat like humans. You may want to run this information by your vet. Any way I wish you my best in your quest.
