Hi there! I'm Anne: vegan, feminist, buddhist-pagan, wife, step-mom, knitter, optimist, chatterbox, introvert, computer tech, soccer fan.

I've picked up a running habit, so I'd like to build on it and see where it takes me :) I also want to play more soccer, and that tends to be pretty fitness-intense.

I've lost 18 pounds since September using SP and a food logging app called TwoGrand, it's been fun!

My Goals:
~ maintain vegan lifestyle
~ run a 10k by 2016
~ play soccer once a week
~ 400+ fitness minutes each week
~ three chin-ups by Oct
~ be at my desired weight/silhouette by my next birthday

My Program:
~ "eat the rainbow"
~ drink 100oz water daily
~ find an indoor soccer pitch for when it starts snowing
~ pay more attention to the carbs/fats/proteins ratio
~ don't go for seconds until drinking 2c water

~ get my kid through the second half of 6th grade with decent grades

Hi Anne, Thanks so much for your comment on my blog post a few days ago. Some great stuff there! I had no idea about the nutrient level on frozen produce so was excited because if not for fresh, I usually do go to the frozen. Excellent idea about the snack drawer too...may steal that idea for at home too. It's one thing to know you have the things "around" but already bagged up and at the ready might help a lot.

As for the protein powder- I did in fact get some today, but the brand escapes me. Once I try it, if it's good, I'll let ya know!

I'd love to know what all you put in your breakfast burritos and how you fix them to freeze ? Any way you're still getting a bit of "crunch" from those when you pull them out of the freezer?
