renewed project

Having gained weight in France on vacation in July, it is time to renew my commitment to weight loss, nutrition, and exercise. Step one is to use the nutrition tracker on sparkpeople. although it is not exactly user-friendly, i have used it in past and can get back into it.

Just dropping by to say Hi. I posted to you in the Surviving Cancer group, but am unsure of what to post where at the moment until I get used to things here, so will post it here as well.

Wishing you all the very best on the chemo. You’ll be in my thoughts and prayers and fingers crossed that it does its job well and brings things under control. I used to imaging my chemo as my ally and friend, helping me to fight, conquer and overpower the cancer. Hoping this is what it does for you too. I would recommend reading Patrick Quillin’s book ‘Beating Cancer with Nutrition’. It doesn’t claim to cure, but it really is an eye opener and you will gain much from reading this.

Hope you’ll visit my page as I’ve only recently joined.

Stay Positive.
All the very best.
Crystal

Welcome to Surviving Cancer. Feel free to post in the forums and chat room and if you like start a new topic. I have a weekly challenge that starts each Sun. It's different each week. You can find it in the games and challenges section of the forums in the team page near the bottom of the page. I give goodies out to all who participate in it. I see you are still on the Mayo Clinic Diet Plan. And you are losing lots of weight. Good for you!

Your talking about Net Grams got me curious and thanks to you I found my niche with the Atkins diet plan. Suits me to a T. I just can't tolerate any grains!

Wishing you continued success!

Helen

I am so very proud of you! Quitting smoking and losing weight? You certainly are working a program! Have quit smoking myself and have gained a ton of weight and now am trying to focus on losing that once again. Great Job! What an inspiration!
