Hi guys! I'll be the first to admit, I'm not a very good Sparker. Its been 567 days since my last log in. :/
As I've said before- it has become more evident than ever that weight loss is not an easy task. It is a daily struggle to drag yourself to the gym or to keep driving pass that McDonalds that is a block from your house and to eat a salad at home instead. Or its the decision to eat something bad or to skip the gym for a couple of days or even weeks and then coping with the feelings that come with those decisions.

Losing weight is the hardest thing I have ever tried to do and have continuely failed at year after year. But without failure, there is no sucess. I joined a new gym last November and have tried to live that healthy lifestyle. I've cut out a lot of my alcoholic drinking, am a little more conscious of how many fruits and vegetables I'm eating everyday along with my water intake and the amount of excerise I'm doing every week.

Being in my mid twenties, I don't want to enter into my thirties with regrets of not doing this or seeing that, or being able to do something because I'm overweight. I want to travel the world and not have to embarassingly ask for a seat belt extender ( ** NO LONGER NEED!! Traveled to MN to spend St. Patrick's Day with my boyfriend and not only did I not need a seat belt extender, I had to tighten the seatbelt so it was "snug across my hips" :) **). I want to feel comfortable in bed next to someone I love. I want someone to love me as much as I love them. And these are just a few of the many things I want in this lifetime but know I cannot accomplish without having a healthier lifestyle.

So I'm cutting back my drinking, AGAIN.
I'm going to start eatting at least 2 vegetables and 2 fruits a day, AGAIN.
I'm going to drink 64oz of water daily, AGAIN.
I'm going to work out for at least 30 minutes a day, 3-4 days a week, AGAIN.

And hopefully these agains will turn into punds lost, confidence in my body gained, and a better future.

I would love for people to be-friend me on here! The one thing that did keep me going a little longer the last time I started over on Spark People was having more people to be accountable to, sooooo hold me accountable. Ask me where I've been, or how I'm doing, and I'll do the same for you. We are better together, not alone.

My Goals:
I would really like to be at my height/weight range, with 180 tipping the heavy end of that range.


My Program:
So far my goals this week are to track every day of what I eat. Then to start my day by walking for 10 minutes. Continue to drink 8 cups of water a day, and lastly to journal it all.



Personal Information:
Just moved to Kansas City, MO and looking forward to enjoying the city life!

Love scrapbooking, sewing, cooking, anything to do with home improvement/art/crafts things like that...I'm the all around Martha Stewart wanna be without the jail time and lawsuits.

Currently reading The Spark!, generating ideas from the Hungry Girl cookbooks, and looking forward to starting my Skinny Bitchin' journal.
