I accidentally discovered Spark People and now I am excited to get started. I have been running for the past 6 months and even finished 2 5k's. I try to watch my portions but I have not been able to lose the 25 pounds I gained when I quit smoking 4 years ago.

Hi! I haven't been on in a while either. I am taking 4 classes, which was probably to much. There is a lot of homework, but I enjoy it. I'm glad you are taking a class. It's good to something just for yourself. Two of my classes are basic computers and basic math, not my strong points, but I think I can get thru them this semester. Next semester I may cut down to two or three depending what they are, because tests are all at the same time! I hated to hear that your daughter was so sick, I hope she gets well soon. I know that is a big worry and how stressed out you can get over your kids. It's ok to comfort yourself when you need to and sometimes you just need to!!! emoticon

I haven't been on in a while, I started some classes at the comm college and it's been hectic. Now that I'm not so overwhelmed, I'm trying to get in a routine. I hope you and your family are well. I managed to lose five lbs. during all this, but it was water I'm sure. I didn't have time to even get a drink, much less eat. I do enjoy it though, I love to learn! emoticon

Congratulations on 750 fitness minutes! You have a lot of energy to do this and to keep up with your family! Your my role model so you hang in there ! My two youngest gk's are starting kindergarten , I've kept my Gks for the last nine years ( I have 4 ) until they started kindergarten. I'm planning on getting serious about taking better care of myself.
