Healthier with Each Season

After an Autumn 08 recommitment to live a healthy lifestyle, I've lost 62 pounds as of Summer 09.

I still have over 100 pounds to loose, so I've set some short-term goals: 1) Loose 10% of my body weight every three months, until I reach a healthy percent of body fat, and 2) Make exercise a routine part of my life, staring with swimming and weight lifting.

I want to share a long, illness-free retirement with hubby John, being active, especially with my grandsons. ...

Also, since my daughter's dealth, I want to be healthy and available to support her husband and son as needed.

Here at SparkPeople I find the encouragement and tools I need. In February '09 my husband also began tracking his food. I'm so thankful for the online resources and the opportunity for community here.

My name is Suanne and I live about 30 miles east of Seattle.

Hi Just stopping by to see how you're doing! Just wanted you to know that the tax collector comes around on Sept 1 and so we're asking all of our current residents to keep moving through town b/c we have to pay extra taxes for friends who stay too long!!! (please tell me you're smiling!) Well any way we hope your journey is going the way you want it to -- we wish you good luck along the way and we're glad you stopped by our little town to visit.
