I've visited Sparks in the past but never really got serious. This will be my year to turn things around as I intend to put myself first for a change. I've been lazy in the past and always let "life" derail my weight-loss/exercise efforts.

My dream is to be come a healthier, leaner, more toned version of myself. I hope to meet/make new friends as I journey towards my goal. We can achieve whatever we put our minds to, we just have to believe in ourselves and that we are worth the effort. I mean nobody is going to slap that cookie out of our hands am I right?

I look forward to us meeting/motivating each other and hope that this will be your year of success as well.

Cardio - 30 min. daily
Weights - 30 min. 2x
Log food daily 5 x
8 glasses H20 daily
Food plan - low carb/low fat/lean protein.

Fridge pickers wear bigger knickers :).

Personal Information:
Hi, my name is Barb, I'm 53 years old, married, no children. I grew up as an army brat, spending my formative years [high school] in Lahr, Germany. Because my dad was in the army we moved around a lot making it difficult to maintain relationships so I often struggled with being shy/lack of confidence. I often feel that I don't know who I am as I am the consumate actress becoming what I think you want me to be. I want to lose the weight, find myself and ultimately be comfortable with who I am.

Other Information:
I have tried so many times to lose weight finally achieving lifetime [WW] 20 years ago. I was a svelte 110 lbs/5.1 ft. fox! Naturally I gained the weight back and have struggled with going it alone ever since. I look forward to motivating and inspiring others and also getting inspiration from all of you. I am determined to do it this time! aka "Gypsy"
