Thanks for the kind comments on my spark feed today! I've learned a few things about myself in that I really thrive off of structure and organization when it comes to weight loss and fitness. Years ago when I was really fit and my goals were things like benching 120 pounds, rather than losing weight -- I worked with a trainer who used to set high and low goals for short term and mid-range time frames. I found that while I often didn't reach my "high" target weight, I usually beat the "low" target, and that was motivating. I actually joined SP about 5 years ago under another username (Healthy-spark), but because so discouraged with my lack of progress and backward progress that one day I deleted the account. Dumb, because then I didn't have ANY framework to work within.. I've found that success breeds success (mostly), and that investing time into my own health and fitness is time well spent.
