I'm finally ready to finish this battle that I've fought all my life. I've never been a small person but think I can be now. I'm finally ready to finish this battle that I've fought all my life. I've never been a small person but think I can be now. I was shocked into making an earnest attempt to take the weight off nearly 7 years ago when I was weighed at the doctor's office for the first time in many years. I weighed in then at 274.5. I had no idea I let myself get that heavy. I started off strong taking off about 40 lbs but put most of that back on within a couple of years. I went on this way until I found a very supportive group of people on another site in January of last year. At that time I weighed in at 235.5. I've lost 67 lbs since then and have kept it off. I'm here to finally win this battle.

I am a 43 year old mother of 3 wonderful boys. The oldest is 23 and has recently left home. He has not yet found his drive and ambition. My twins are 19 and ready to begin their lives. Jordan is an Army reservist contemplating active duty and Logan is following his dream of becoming a chef by attending Johnson & Wales University. They are my pride and joy. I grew up in Southern Cal but have lived in beautiful New England for 13 years. We love it here.
