LIVE, LAUGH AND LOVE!

I have always enjoyed an active life; however, after turning 50 the weight starting sticking. I gained over 25 pounds within 12 months. I knew I needed to make some major changes to stop the weight gain. So, I joined this site to talk to like minded people fighting the battle of the bulge. I plan to do whatever it takes to lose 50 pounds, radically changing my diet, regular exercise, personal trainer, etc.
I know I can do it!

My goal is to lose 55 pounds.
Increase muscle tone
Run five 5K races in 2013
Wear size 10 jeans
Inspire others to make healthy lifestyle changes.
Ride my bike daily.
Run a 5K in under 40 minutes

My Program:
My plan is to increase my exercise, make major changes in my diet and eliminate or minimize the stress in my life.
Exercise 4-5 days per week.

New Goals & Rewards:
225 lbs - New workout outfit
220 lbs - New running shoes
215 lbs - Full Body scrub at Spa.
210 lbs - Hot stone massage.
205 lbs - new exercise outfit.
200 lbs - get new hair style.
197 lbs - New dress (size 12)
190 lbs - New makeup.
185 lbs - shopping spree.
180 lbs - Spa Day.
170 lbs - (Goal weight) trip to fitness Ridge in Utah.

BMI Goal:
24.9 (Healthy Level)

Finally, I'm out of the Obese category I'm currently at 26.72, which is considered overweight.

Personal Information:
I am married with a lovely daughter and I enjoy meeting new people. I pictured myself aging gracefully without any extra pounds or illnesses that I can prevent. This site will help me get to my optimum weight and health.

Hi Slim, thanks for the sunshine goodie. I hope all is well with you, I'm trying to maintain my weight loss, I just need to continue to eat in moderation and exercise consistently. I want to lose another 7 pounds to get to 140. Have a great week! emoticon emoticon emoticon

Slim...Hi!! So glad you stopped by my page. Back problems for me...my pelvis is off kilter from my back. I've been going to PT for a few weeks. It's improving but walking for fitness is about all I can do. I've had to lay off weight lifting which is killing me and any intense workout! I just need to let it heal before I get back to 100% workouts
