Love your comment about hunger at 230 pounds being "mouth hunger" and not real hunger and of course you are right -- which is probably why I don't pay a whole lotta attention to hunger (NOT AN EMERGENCY) now. It's just "me" . . . but the additional protein (within my calorie range, of course) can't hurt!!

I just RE read your comment on yesterday's "maintenance question" blog and that was one of the MOST helpful remarks yet! You always know JUST what to say to me! I'm still just a BIT confused at what calories I should use, when I figured out my calories on the BMR chart...it was pretty much what I am eating now so may take more time to figure it out...but your 100 calories sounds maybe about right?

THANKS for all your knowledge that you "lend" me so often!

Hugs,
Gaye

Well, I'm going to start watching this...thanks for the explanation! Now, what percentage is 100 of your daily calories? I am really going to start doing this...not that I have any hunger yet (real hunger) but I want to avoid that starting....I figured that out months ago about too low fat in my diet...I could do it for DAYS but then all of a sudden I would HAVE to BINGE. So I began reading up on it....I now have two tablespoons of coconut oil and voila! I'm fine. I have one in the morning and one at night...has worked for many, many months and it made my GOOD cholesterol perfect so my doctor is smiling big time!

Thanks....have a "good" day today, Marsha!
