This Time It's Forever!

I'm 80 pounds below my all time high and I've lost over 50 pounds since Dec. 1, 2008. In March 2009 I achieved a healthy BMI 25. However, with SP I was able to achieve the weight I've wanted to be since I was a teen, under BMI 21.

I am still improving my eating habits & gaining confidence in my ability to maintain. I'm running regularly, 5Ks and 2nd half marathon coming up. I've gained this weight back many times. Not this time. This time it is forever! -Marsha

My Goals:
* Maintain 80+ pound loss.
* Stay within calorie range at least 90% of the time. Lose 6 pounds in 2013.
* Keep on running. Go for PRs.

1 Mile = 8:47 (4/13)
5K = 27:33 (4/13/13)
10K = 1:01:13 (3/16/13)
HM = 2:37:36 (11/18/12)


My Program:
Clean SWEEP:

Clean = eat with dignity
S = 7-8 hrs sleep
W = 8 glasses water
E = eat healthy
E = exercise 6 times/wk
P = persistence



Personal Information:
63 years old, 5'6", 125-129 pounds. Retired social worker-grant writer-nonprofit administrator. One adult daughter. I keep my two darling granddaughters six days a week when my DD & DSIL work. Weigh less right now than I did in junior high. Have struggled with weight all my life, but I just may have it now!!

Other Information:
You don't have to be perfect to succeed, but you do have to be determined. Never, never, never give up!

Thanks for the infor about your running club. We will probably end up closer to Tallahassee because that's where my son and grandson live now. But I have nephews down in your neck of the woods and I will keep an eye on your marathons. I just may come down for one.

P.S. In case you hadn't caught this trivia bit, SPINNINGJW is my kid sister. I'm all for helping out, same as you help your nephew who's working so hard on his fitness for health.

Jen is thinking not just of herself in this. As a physical therapist assistant, she's in the industry where she needs to be setting a good example for her patients!

And now it's rumbling thunder, so I'm not getting that grass cut (and I'm actually happy for the excuse NOT to). emoticon

I hope they work as well for you as they have for me. You do need to find someone trained in the techniques. Just a word of warning -- it will be painful (during). Think foam rolling on steroids. But I always feel much better immediately afterwards. But tired for a day.
