My Goals:
My goal is to lose enough weight that I start to see some stomach definition again!

My Program:
My program kicked off mid-2009 after seeing a great TV programme called '10 Things you need to know about losing weight'.

The 10 things were:
1. Count calories (religiously)
2. Eat soup (more filling than equivalent mass of food & drink of water)
3. Eat more protein to stay fuller longer
4. Eat low fat dairy to remove more digested fat from your system
5. Serve smaller portions
6. Avoid choice of food (esp. buffets!)
7. A small amount of additional movement each day adds up to a lot of calories burnt
8. Exercising during the day increases the amount of calories burnt while you sleep
9. Don't skip meals
10. Don't blame your metablolism!

I already did a lot of cardio but never lost weight so I implemented the first 4 points and step 1 was finding a (free!) online calorie counter, which is how I stumbled across Spark People. Watch the documentary here: http://topdocumentaryfilms.com/10-things-y
