I started Sparking a few years ago with a goal to lose weight. I lost that weight and have been able to keep it off for the most part. After my wedding in March, 2011, I lost some lean muscle but maintained a steady 133-136 weight. With work becoming more hectic, my enrollment in the night time MBA program and buying a house, my eating habits have weakened. I have found more excuses to skip my workouts and it is catching up with me.

My goal is to get back to into the healthy living that I once practiced. I know it is ok to indulge sometimes, but in moderation and that went out the window months ago!
I would like to get to my ultimate goal weight of 125 so I am healthy and ready for pregnancy!!!

My Goals:
- Reduce Alcohol intake dramatically. There is no need to drink every day of the weekend and sometimes during the week!

- Reduce/Omit indulgent snacking- such as no more eating an entire bag of chips in one sitting.

- Reinforce portion control!

-Exercise regularly- this is something I used to do but have made more excuses than I have completed workouts!


My Program:
Establish a healthier lifestyle slowly. It will not work if I cut out everything all at once.

Continue to measure my portions and work really hard at NOT snacking on additional food while at work.

Exercise 6 days a week- Insanity program, 30 Day Shred, treadmill work, and I hope to start with some pilates or Yoga DVDs.

Track EVERYTHING I eat even if it shows a ton of calories consumed for the day.

My name is Lauren, I'm from Pittsburgh, PA and am 30. I love to work out and I completed my first marathon in Oct. 2012!

I have been a member of Spark for a while now and find it is a great way to be held accountable. I am revamping my page to initiate a new motivation. My husband and I are now trying to have a baby and I want to be as healthy as possible!

This time around, I want to focus on establishing a healthier lifestyle and stick to it. I would like to get leaner so my clothes fit better. Although I have a weight goal established, i will not be focusing on the number so much as how I feel.
