    Thank you for your feedback on my diabetes post. I did not put diabetes in remission by losing weight but only by cutting carbs. You right that if I did not pay attention to what I eat at all that I would most likely be at diabetic levels again very quick. Insulin-resistance can probably improve but is partly genetically based. The question is what constitutes a normal and healthy diet. I believe that anyone will damage their body by eating unnatural foods that are highly processed and even foods that are far removed from what they originally were like many grains. But if I can eat a whole food diet that provides all the vitamins, minerals and energy that my body needs then I do not consider that a restrictive "diabetes" diet but one that most people would benefit from. If the result if permanent remission I'll take that.

    Thank you for your much appreciated sharing on my recent blog.

    For rings that we cannot get resized --- NellJones left this idea, that I thought worthy of tucking away for use when one needs it. "I had to have little gold balls put on the inside of a couple of rings to keep them from spinning on my finger."
