A goal for myself
I have the typical story of most, I have battled the weight all my life. In 2003, at 393#'s I opted for gastric bypass. It was a success and I lost 193#'s and was blessed with two beautiful girls in 2006 and 2008. My weight battles began again after each pregnancies. Though I have not gained all my weight back (still 100#'s to the good). I'm miserable and I'm not happy with my body. I am going back to the basics, monitor my caloric intake, eating protein first in every meal. I ...

Though I have not gained all my weight back (still 100#'s to the good). I'm miserable and I'm not happy with my body. I am going back to the basics, monitor my caloric intake, eating protein first in every meal. I have already lost 7#'s and I have a long way to go. One thing I have learned in my life is each journey begins with one step, so that's what I'm doing...one step at a time and one day at a time.

I'm happily married and blessed with two beautiful girls. I'm striving to get this weight off so I can be healthier and so I am able to stay active with my kids.
