The older I get the more I crave balance and health. When my boys were in their tweens or early teens I realized if I didn't get healthier I would not keep up to them for long. I lost 40 pounds and worked hard to create a healthier lifestyle. Sadly some of those those 40 pounds had homing devices and return to my belly..... so now I am only 15 pounds down from where I was and not very happy about that.

I, for the most part, remain fairly active, but clearly not enough. I love to walk, yoga, cycle and hike; and the Alberta season if about to bring for the latter of the two.

I am currently trying Jillian Michaels Get ripped in 30 days, which is a tough work out for me - but I have manager day 3 which I am very proud of because I hurt ever day.

I also love live music, but with that often comes a beverage or 3, or 5. My weekdays are fairly good, but the weekends I forgot the goals and just have fun.

How did I miss your comment on my SP? Geez!

I ended the round OK, but Ive seen the scale creeping the wrong way lately! Ive been taking a class on Saturdays that involves a PT workout and then a group session where we are going through a book together about intentional eating. Its really starting to sink in (even though I already know) thats theres more to it than "eat less & move more" for me. It goes a bit deeper than that and Im exploring WHY. Ill be starting next round with a bit of a different attitude that will hopefully show on the scale!

I couldnt decide between the two teams so I put them both down! As long as I get one of them, Ill be happy but I sure did miss you Rangers last round!

Hey T,
Thanks for the comment on my blog. I am trying not to exercise this week. I will be getting enough exercise next week while up north with my son. I just wish I knew why it keeps coming back. Hope you are doing well.

Thanks so very much for the goodie. All I am doing is following the Weight Watcher program very close, eating healthy and getting in my exercise. Actually, I am staying just a little below my recommended points and not using the humongous weekly points that they say we can have and not eating my activity points. I think that is the trick. I try to stay with fresh foods without too much processed. I keep expecting a plateau to hit and am dreading that time. But just keep on doing what I am doing as long as I get the results I am getting. BTW, I don't depend on water to be an answer.

Hey,

Congrats on the work - I assume this is a good thing! And thanks for touching base.

I am enjoying the break. Had one v. stressful week and veered off track for a few days. That resulted in a gain. I swear, I can eat well for three weeks straight and lose a pound but then eat badly for a few days and gain seven. I am now back on track and trying to fix things.

Having a very hard time getting into the 170s. As soon as I get to 183, my weight seems to bounce back up to 186 again. It's like an evil yo-yo! LOL. So I'm hanging in there.

A big emoticon on maintaining. What's up with you?

Hello emoticon

Thanks for visiting my page. I started to find my groove & I think the darn thing snuck out the back door & left me! LOL. I was starting to get back on track & just lost it again. emoticon

I wish I could figure it out to get back in the groove. I was not at all happy about the scale reading this week. emoticon
