I experienced my first marathon on March 17, 2013 - The Shamrock Marathon. I've been chasing the marathon dream for three years and I did it.

In January 2008 I set out to lose 100 pounds. I started January 2008 and reached the 100-pound lost on April 28, 2011. My overall health has improved and my fitness level has increased. I would still like to lose another 15 pounds, but we shall see what my body really wants. My main focus now is my running, comtemplating starting ...

My main focus now is my running, comtemplating starting training for another full marathon and toning up the new, lighter body. I have always dreamed of the six pack abs and want to work on toning the arms up a bit too.

SP has been a life changing experience and I am happy to make SPARK a part of my daily life - EVERY DAY, now and forever.

I want to inspire my family and others to lose weight and get fit and healthy.

My Program:
1200-1550 calories daily
Exercise every day
Cardio 4 x week
Run 15-20 miles per week
Strength training 3 x week

Currently training for another half-marathon in May 2014, it will be my running buddy's first one. Keep her motivated keeps me motivated.

Hey girlie! I'll let you know how the Chicken Enchilada Stew turned out. It was an easy crockpot recipe. Put everything in and wait 8 hours. Unfortunately, we got a wild hair last night and decided to eat out instead of eat what was cooked for dinner. We were very bad, but I've been eating Paleo for almost a week and allow myself one cheat meal a week. That was it. Back to clean eating. You know what? it didn't even taste worth cheating. I feel so much better eating clean. I know that. What's wrong with me? I'll be in touch!

Happy Friday! Next Friday I'll be in Vegas for Super Bowl weekend. Go Denver! emoticon
