I am 25 and a mountain-loving southerner, if there is a such thing. I love Jeeps--pretty much all makes & models, but mostly the Wrangler. I love seafood, and I get a huge kick out of cracking crab legs. I'd like to think that singing burns calories. I enjoy working out (most of the time), hate actually working, and think that everyone needs yoga 1x/week to have a peaceful mind. I'm celebrating 1 year at my goal weight with sparkpeople.com on Sunday, January 11, 2009!

Right now ...

Right now I'm just trying my best to stay on course. I'm getting married in October 09 and would like to maintain my goal weight and healthy habits I've learned over the past year+ on sparkpeople.com. I've never felt better and although we all have slip-ups, I cannot imagine returning to my lifestyle prior to sparkpeople!

FOOD: Cutting calories by making smarter choices: more veggies, less takeout, lots of lean protein!
WORKOUT: Ensuring a minimum of workouts per week, and using the FIIT principle, varying elements of my workout to keep my body on its toes.

Personal Information:
I am originally from North Carolina, and have been living in Colorado for 4 years. I enjoy the active lifestyle Coloradans have access to because of the beautiful mountains, rivers, and weather!

I just had to laugh when I read your post on the motivation board telling someone that you went on a week-long vacation to Wisconsin where you ate cheese, brats and drank beer all week. I moved to Wisconsin 7 years ago and that really is what it's like here! As soon as I moved here I started gaining weight and put on like 45 lbs (the long winters don't help)!

Best of luck getting the weight off in time for your wedding, and I hope you had a great time in Wisconsin despite the weight gain! emoticon
