The Final Stretch

I'm a new teacher in Washington State, and I've lived my entire life with a "few extra pounds". Sometimes it's been ten extra pounds, sometimes it's been thirty, but either way, I've never been completely satisfied with my body.

Two years ago, I lost about 25 pounds with the help of Jenny Craig. I've gained a little back, since August 2009, and now I'm working to get it back off (and maybe a little more!).

My Goals:
145lbs - $50 to spend at LUSH.

140lbs - Still thinking about this reward. Any $100 range ideas?

135lbs - New pair of Seven jeans! My old ones are getting worn in the rear.


My Program:
I do cardio 5-6 times a week, usually 45 minutes on the gazelle machine or the elliptical. I just started jogging on the treadmill, too, so I'll do 2-3 runs every week, usually for 25-30 minutes.

Thanks for reading my blog today. I'll admit I was a teensy bit nervous about making the zucchini bread because just about everyone rated it well, but there were a few people in there who said they threw it out. I think a zucchini chocolate thing would be harder to pull off, even though it does sound tempting to make! At least you gave it a shot! :)
Its hard getting family members turned around in regards to their food choices. My husband's food choices are horrendous, generally, but he'll also eat just about anything I make. so he does get SOME decent food in there. My son's biggest influence to healthy eating wasn't just me, but Popeye. Oh yes, Popeye the Sailor Man. There's even some canned Spinach with Popeye on it and that's all it took. Antonio's convinced his muscles grow any time he eats vegetables. Haha. :)
