Hi!! Welcome to my Sparkpage! So I am 23 years old. I am 5'6 and am currently 150 lbs. I have never been this heavy before in my life. So my goal is to work as hard as I can to get to a comfortable weight again. Right now I am at a point that I dont enjoy going out or being around people because I just feel too fat. So this is something I have to do to get my life back
I have been thin my entire life...not knowing it at the time but now that I am 150 pounds 120 is looking pretty good. I look back at my pictures and think "what was I so worried about?" I got depressed...I ate...I gained...thats all there is to it. I have always had the picture in my head and goal to be 100 pounds. I am 5'6 ok? I am not supposed to be 100 pounds. I know my goal of 115 might seem low, but its because I want to lose fat and gain lean muscle.
My goal is realistic now...and healthy. I do not plan on starving myself. I do not plan on eating junk food and laying on the couch and feeling sorry for myself because I am so fat. If I am that upset about it I will get off my butt and do something about it...which I am.
This site is a godsend. I really believe it is going to help. And with so much motivation on here, it makes it a tiny bit easier. I know its not going to be easy by any means, but when I see women who have met their goals, that inspires me. I hope I can write down a list of goals I have achieved for 2009 like they have for previous years.

Goals for 2009:

*Be happy with my weight and body
*Reach my goal weight of 115
*Wear a size 3 pants
*Become a healthier person
*Take at least 17 hours in school (I need 30 to graduate, but I work full time so I cant go so school full time)
*Pay off my credit card
*Pay off my car

1/9/09:144 Met today! 1 pound less that my goal!
1/16/09-142 (aiming for 140, but Ill take what I can get!)
1/23/09-141 (lost 1 pound in a week..Ill do better this next week...I was sick for the last week...figures)
2/13/09- Happy Birthday to me!

-No sweets at all (its an addiction and in order to stop the addiction I cant have any!!)

Personal Information:
My name is Laura and Im from Oklahoma. I love to run and workout. I have a boyfriend who I have been with since middle school and we intend to get married someday. I am currently a college student and am working full time, so I have a busy schedule. But is isnt too busy to lose this weight. Life will be so much easier when I do!
I am trying to get back into running right now. I have run all my life and have basically gotten in a rut.

I love to run, workout, dive, rockclimb, fish with my boyfriend, do 5ks...all in all Im a pretty active person...and I intend to get more active.
