Let's see - I was three pounds short of having lost 50 pounds - and I regained almost all of it. Slowly at first, then very quickly. The reasons - at least what I think were the reasons - are nothing I want to go into here, but having identified them, I think I can avoid them this time around. So, back to day one. 8 cups of water, here I come!

My Goals:
I've decided that it is time for me to do something about getting fit. It isn't so much the weight - I'm mostly ok with my body - but I do want to have better control of my asthma, and exercise is key for that, and getting fit really helps with the exercise, so....
My Program:
Well, I'm watching what I eat pretty seriously for two reasons - 1st is for the asthma, the other for seasonal depression. I've been focusing mostly on cardio but have just added strength training now that I've figured out how to schedule time for these things into my life. Am starting the strength training very slowly - 10 minutes twice a week - and plan to increase it as my ability to do it increases. Only that sort of exploded in my face, so I am back to just cardio for another while...
