Once Upon a Time...

There lived a princess... not your average princess - a queen-sized princess with silver strands in her hair. She lived in her modest castle with her handsome Prince and two faithful hounds.

One day, the Princess looked in her magic mirror. The Mirror greeted her, "Good morning, Princess. What lovely curves you have."

To which the Princess replied, "Thank you, Mirror. But don't you think some of my curves are a bit lumpy?"

The Mirror replied, "Well, ...

One day, the Princess looked in her magic mirror. The Mirror greeted her, "Good morning, Princess. What lovely curves you have."

To which the Princess replied, "Thank you, Mirror. But don't you think some of my curves are a bit lumpy?"

The Mirror replied, "Well, Princess, we're all different, and we all have features we sometimes wish we could change, but curves are beautiful! Your Prince certainly thinks so."

The Princess nodded thoughtfully, and said, "You're right, Mirror, but I'm concerned. I've heard rumors that curves can be detrimental to your health."

The Mirror sighed, and responded, "That is true, Princess, they can be... but if you eat well and get plenty of exercise you will live a happy, healthy life."

The Princess brightened up and announced, "Then that's what I'll do!" But suddenly her smile turned to a frown as she whispered thoughtfully, "But that sounds really hard... I'm not sure I can do it alone."

Just then, her handsome Prince arrived. He took the Princess' hand in his, and said, "Don't worry, my love. You are not alone. I will support you, and there is a kingdom not far from here full of people... Sparkpeople they call themselves... and they will help you, too."

So the Princess journeyed to the kingdom of the Sparkpeople where she learned all about eating well and exercising. She found all the resources she needed to live a healthy lifestyle, and the people there provided her with encouragement and motivation to reach her goals. She still has most of her beautiful curves, and she is growing stronger and healthier every day.

She and her Prince are sure to live happily ever after.

Hello, my lovely!! Oh, I'd think these YouTubes (#1 & #2) below (by Dr Mercola) would show you how/what the Peak is. Phil Campbell is the fitness expert (who uses this technique on professional athletes) and he is the guy you want to listen to.

See how Dr Mercola goes as fast as he can!! You ONLY 'do' that for 30 sec. You want to go as FAST and HARD, so you can't even keep up a conversation. LOL!! If you can talk you're not applying focus on what and how you do this!! Then... you get to slow down for a recovery time of 90 sec before you BLAST & BURN again.

What you're doing (believe it or not) is... AFTER you've done 3-4 Peaks (you don't Peak 8, right off the bat - you Peak 8 once you're AT professional level) you continue - - - YOU CONTINUE to BLAST & BURN for hours later!!

Phil tells you that ONLY Peaks 6-8 are for the experienced. This technique is ONLY supposed to be done 3x's a week, so you'll want to 'do' a SLOW strength training on your off days.

Sheesh!! Dr Mercola is going up to a Peak 8!! WHOA!! DANG, he did it!!

You can use a different machine than the recumbent bike.

This is AWESOME for someone who does NOT have time to hang in the gym every day, or... someone who has NO desire to spend an hour a day on fitness. There's a warm-up... then however many Peaks YOU can 'do' using the recovery time between each MELT, then a slow cool down at the end. About 20 min total. That 60 min a wk on the Peak.

We got the Stargate, Pirates, Narnia, Twilight in common too!! CHECK 'EM OFF, girlfriend!! Gotta' RUN!! The man is home and it's strawberry pickin' time, then our Peak8, only... we're only a Peak4. I love this kind of exercise/workout, Sarah, and it's sooo SIMPLE and zippity-doo-dah FAST too!! PLUS, yer' ONLY 'sposed to 'do' it 3x's a wk or yer' messin' up. I'll be starting my ST (strength training) on the off days I'm not doin' the Peak8. I'll tell ya' more about it later. Catch ya' on the FLIP!! emoticon
