Hi. I am 35 years old. I have been working on losing weight all my life but finally got serious in 2002 after having a health scare. my doctor told me that if I did not lose weight I'd be dead in 6 months. at first I was ticked off at the doctor but after a few days I decided he was right. I decided I did not want to die at 22 years old so I resolved to do everything I could to lose the weight. I am not going to say this journey has been easy because it has been extremely difficult at times. but I an trying to take it one day at a time.

My Goals:
long term: to get to my goal weight of 150.

short term: to get below 250 pounds again.



My Program:
I am not on any real diet just working on making heathier choices. like baked foods rather than fried and lowfat milk rather than whole milk. I am also utilizing the food planner here on spark to help me plan my meals for the next day to stay within my goals and I always try to stay on the low end of my calorie range that way if something unexpected comes along such as a party, etc.
