emoticon The Motivator of the Day.

I see the last post here was a long time ago, but I do hope you are checking in daily and working toward your goals.
I follow Jason Fung M.D. on YouTube who wrote "The Obesity Code" and BUTTER BOB BRIGGS on YouTube who released 145# in 14 months and has kept it off for over 2 yrs. now. Of course, I follow SimplyTori who finally had gastric sleeve surgery so she could drop 104# and now she has been able to get pregnant, something she hadn't been able to do before. Richard Bernstein M.D. in his book "The Diabetes Solution" has a full chapter on PCOS (Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome) which he says is so common among young obese females because of hormone imbalance. He has lectures on YouTube as well.

HI!!my name is RITA!! You sound like me I was 35 or so when I had congestive heart failure and was told to lose weight or I'd die. When I got home from the Hospital and after sleeping for 12 hrs. straight I got up and filled 3 grocery bags to the top with junk ( candy, popcorn, chips, pretzels, and regular soda) I gave it all away. I haven't looked back once I sometimes will drink a diet soda but, not the 5-6 that I used too!!!! The monkey's are off my back and I don't want them back ever. I deal with COPD from it and later developed diabetes. Maybe at some later time I'll tell you the rest of my story as to why I totally believe in GOD AND JESUS CHRIST THEY WERE MY SAVIOR'S MANY TIMES OVER. AMEN emoticon emoticon emoticon

I am so glad you asked! I did not realize that I had mistyped the web page. It is runthedge.com. Yes, there is a book written by the organizers, I noticed when I went to the website again. But if you go to runthedge.com/2015 then you will go right to the page explaining this year's challenge. Sorry for any frustration!!! But great that you are looking to join the challenge. I am enjoying it!
