Meet Jo

Hi, I'm Jo. I'm 64, widowed just recently (july 14, 2014), have 2 kids, 1 daughter-in-law, 3 grandchildren and 1 puppy. I'm determined to learn to live a new lifestyle of healthy eating and good exercise and stretching. Going through a long illness and then the death of my husband took its toll on my body. In the middle of the 7 year stretch, I managed to lose a lot of the weight, but in this last, very hard year, I managed to put most of it back on. There is little point in beating ...

In the middle of the 7 year stretch, I managed to lose a lot of the weight, but in this last, very hard year, I managed to put most of it back on. There is little point in beating myself up about it. I need to use all of my energy toward moving forward, emotionally and physically. Many are praying for me, for which I am so, so grateful.

This is what I posted to the team member that thinks I am being mean. I am not.

Sorry to hear that you think of it as being bullied. Not that at all. Please do not think that.
It's just ,that alot of people work really hard each and every day.
Struggling with weight issues and everything else. Just like you and me.
It just seems to me that your posted exercise minutes. 14hours each day doing the exact same exercises each day seems extreme.
I apologize if you think that is a form of bullinging. That is not my intentions.
It's just about keeping spirits and motivation up and some people get frustrated when they can't do enough.
I hope you and all the other bloggers understand where I'm coming from.

thank you for the comment on my blog. Two years ago I gave up artificial sweeteners and diet sodas, and was amazed at how different I felt!!! I had never believed that was true, until I did it! I am proud to say that I am still following that and trying to eat as organic as possible. I even make my own organic pumpkin spice creamer that is delicious!!!

Hi Jo, thanks for adding me on your friend's list. We are close to the same age. I love the snow pic you have as your background. I am originally from WVA and I loved the snow we got every winter. Living in Mexico for 13 years as missionaries, we only saw snow on the mountain peaks around us. I look forward to getting to know you here on SP.

Jo, THANK YOU for writing again! You're SUCH a precious friend! Thank you so much for your prayers. I just wrote a blog about Menopause Reset and it explains how the LORD is helping me. Also, I've started "Made to Crave" and THANK YOU for your part in me reading this book! {{{{huge hugs}}}} Susan
