I live in the beautiful upper peninsula area of Michigan. We receive lots of snow in winter, which for us starts in October and usually ends in May. Married. Work full time for a university in the Development Dept as a Research Analyst. Two step-sons and MeeMaw to four beautiful grandchildren of my heart.

Welcome Chefs and Sous Chefs, we’re all CHAMPIONS IN THE KITCHEN! Try this recipe for success: Mix 3 balanced meals and 2 snacks with aerobic exercise of any type for a minimum of 10 minutes; add a strong shot of consistency and whip with a good measure of humor. Be sure to add enough water to keep things well-hydrated. Serve on a 9” plate and Have Fun! Repeat daily after a night’s sleep.

Thank you for sharing on my blog "The Battle Is Not Over." Your insight and words of encouragement are truly helpful. I also have stenosis in my neck and back. I have been seeing an orthopedic specialist and he is the one who is getting somewhere with me. I'm a little frustrated with my primary care physician, because they haven't been aggressive. The ortho specialist from 5 years ago said I had to learn to manage the pain and that's all anyone has tried to do for me -pill after pill after it's-not-working pill!

WELCOME Champions, to the Kitchen! Your "Mini-Challenge" for the week is to smell a lemon or orange every morning. The aroma should give give you energy! In fact, warm water & lemon juice in the morning is said to be good for you (although I haven't been able to bring myself to drink it yet) emoticon
