Time for Change

Hi my name is Brenda and I am working towards a healthier me. I started my journey at 261 this year the day after the super bowl. I made some awesome wings, pigs in a blanket, and covered waffle fries. My husband and I ate all of it. The next day I realized that I just can’t do this anymore. I’m not on a “diet”, rather a quest to find out how to eat well and just how exercise can fit into my everyday life. Hi my name is Brenda and I am working towards a healthier me. I started my journey at 261 this year the day after the super bowl. I made some awesome wings, pigs in a blanket, and covered waffle fries. My husband and I ate all of it. The next day I realized that I just can’t do this anymore. I’m not on a “diet”, rather a quest to find out how to eat well and just how exercise can fit into my everyday life. I have a 3 year old son and I dread the day some kid teases my son for having a fat mom. So I’m learning how this food thing works by counting my calories and exercising. I figured after one year I would have an idea what I can eat and what to avoid. So far I am happy with my results. I am currently in my “rehab” for 5 months and have lost 40 pounds and 20 inches.
