Weight Loss Survivor!

Me at church (I think March 2008)
Hello and thank you for visiting my page! I am Sjacquita (Zsa [like Zsa-Zsa Gabor] Zsa-key-tah), but most people call me Kita (Key-tah) because my name is difficult to pronounce by just looking at it. LOL!!! I have struggled with my weight since I was 9 years old. I, like others on this site, have considered bariatric surgery, but I am not fond of going under the knife and the horror stories I've read about the surgery don't help either. I am currently a Claims Research Analyst for a local insurance company and, while I am grateful just to have job in today's economic times, it takes all I can just to get to work everyday. I am exhausted all the time and I'm just looking for relief...
To weigh 199 or less, be able to stand and/or walk without shortness of breathe and to stop having anxiety attacks or panicking if I can't find a chair to sit down after very little exertion
I don't have a program at the moment. I have tried every known program in the free world, but I have not been able to keep my motivation to work any program more than a few weeks, but I am not giving up hope! There is something out there I can do long term, I've just got to discover what it is.
I am a Columbus, GA native. I am a Claims Research Analyst for Aflac, the former Minister of Music for Mt. Pleasant Baptist Church, Columbus GA (a position I held for 14 years) and currently the Minister of Music for my home church - Rose Hill Memorial Baptist Church, also in Columbus, GA. I am a capable musician, but I'm a much better singer than pianist - not that I'm tooting my own horn, mind you. :-) LOL!!!
I need a buddy to help me stay accountable for my eating choices and exercise habits. Preferably someone local for some one-on-one interaction, but anyone interested will be appreciated.

Hi Kita - the motorcycle is my brothers and I have never rode on it. I thought it would make a good picture. I'm still working on living a healthy lifestyle and with God's help I'm going to get there. I don't want to go back to where I came from, for me this is for life! Be blessed, trust in God and spark on!!

Hi Kita, I am so blessed to have read your blog today. Thank you for giving yourself one more chance to get back up. Remember, as children of God, we do not walk alone. You mentioned it has been awhile and you feel you are in the same place, but believe me, God has been carrying you in His arms and now you are strong enough for Him to put you down on your two feet and walk this journey knowing that when you get tired, stumble and fall, afraid, confused, lonely, or what ever else that comes your way, He will be right there beside you to carry you. His love and mercy never fails. His strength will keep you moving forward and the motivation you need will come from His love for you. Continue the good fight, for in due time He will say come good and faithful servant. Wake up each morning and see His great love and know that He is smiling over you, return the love and smile back to Him knowing that everyday He gives you is a gift and blessing so you can share with others. The weight will come under control as you live a life with self-control. Finally, be strong in the Lord and in His mighty power.
