My Goals:
So, I am going to shake things up a bit... Let's see if THIS will work. I need to become more accountable
1/22 227 BIG ICK
1 pound per week. This I am going to try and do. Eat better, Move more, it's a pound, I can DO a pound, but gee whiz, 52 pounds this year, sounds so much better than 1 pound this week...

My Program:
I need to remember what I am putting in my mouth .
I need to remember that if I canít (wonít) walk because itís cold out, I need to move in another way.
I need to remember that if I donít burn calories, I will not continue to lose weight.
I need to remember that whole foods are better than processed foods.
I need to remember that this is a journey to the rest of my life.

Personal Information:
I joined Sparks a couple of years ago, and every once in a while I would post what I ate. This spring (2010) I decided I would make myself more accountable. So, here I am, 50. WOW how cool. I am 50. Now the flip side of that is I often don't think I have changed the world, I think I thought I would. I didn't invent anything that changed the world, People don't say, Oh, there she goes, you know, she founded... Updated..
1/14 I am still here, I am now 53, and I am still on the journey, and I WILL NOT GIVE UP.

Other Information:
To wake up every day grateful for the things I already have. To remember that life is a gift not given, and that if I don't do something about my weight, I may not have a long life, which I need, and so does my family.

We have crossed paths about 3 months ago. We used to be team-mates on the 100 Days to a New You Challenge team.
I love that you think pb is or should be a food group.
And yes I have been fighting with myself to stay serious about dropping the excess weight and getting healthy for a very long time :/ Hope you don't mind that I've added you as a friend?
I could use the inspiration.

Thank you! I'm back to lose the 15 lbs I gained back since October. I became a sugar carb addict again.

I've been down this lose/gain weight road so many times, I know it's a part of long-term maintenance. But it sure gets old... and the weight jumps back on fast.

emoticon for stopping by my blog! I'm pretty excited about how things are going. My degree will be in Psychology and I'm going to continue with school and get my Masters as well. I'm trying to be as level headed as possible about anything that I can control. Hopefully everything works out!

Thank you for stopping by and checking on me! My feet are getting better as long as I do 9 hours. I had to do my first 12 and 12 1/2 this week and my bad ankle just wasn't having it! The muscles around my elbows and knees hurt, but they will get better with time. So far I've had one supervisor tell me he wants to set up an interview and another one recently who just blatantly asked me if I wanted a job. So I'm hoping to be hired on sometime soon.
