Goals for 2013: 1. Find ways to relieve stress to lower my high blood pressure. Already exercising and eating well... now, how to reduce stress? Possibilities: take better control of some things that are really bothering me- aspects of my job, family life, and finances, for example. 2. Consistently eat fewer than 1700 calories a day. Goals for 2013: 1. Find ways to relieve stress to lower my high blood pressure. Already exercising and eating well... now, how to reduce stress? Possibilities: take better control of some things that are really bothering me- aspects of my job, family life, and finances, for example. 2. Consistently eat fewer than 1700 calories a day. I managed to drop weight last year without this consistency- I know that to get down another 5 pounds, I HAVE to succeed at this. 3. Make positive connections with other people in my life: in person, on the phone, and online- less complaining, more asking and listening, and no more negative or "venting" Facebook status updates, period. They only make me feel bad later. 4. I will post goals later about travel, romance, adventure goals- but at the moment I am feeling very blue about those aspects of my life, and it's hard to feel realistic about any goals. Maybe my goal is to find ways to be positive and keep going?

My Goals:
I have had great success losing pounds with Spark. I'm done with allowing stress and life to get in the way of my own health and sanity. I currently weigh 145 and am a 6-8. I want to maintain my current fitness regimen, continue to improve my diet, and if I drop another 5 pounds, great!
My Program:
Eat fewer than 1700 calories per day. Walk or jog with my dogs 3.5 miles at least 5 days a week. Body Pump muscle-building class at the gym 1-2 times per week.
Personal Information:
My teaching job, step-family, ongoing home remodeling, and hubby's on-and-off employment bring me joy AND stress.
Other Information:
I'm 5'6" and addicted to Spark! I record ALL food intake- good or bad- and it works!
