Mar 2011 Update: I've made peace with the scale. It is not my friend and I have accepted that. :-) I've been able to make peace with it because I feel healthy and strong, and proud of what my body can do. I am living a much more active life, and have more energy every day. I am proud that I have completed several triathlons and thankful to have such a fun hobby. I am also grateful for the motivation sparkpeople has provided along my journey.

Jun 2010 Update: It's taken a year and a half to lose 15 pounds. When I started this journey, I expected to be at 25 pounds or more by now. Although the number on the scale can be frustrating, I feel so strong and healthy that it makes up for it. I actually look forward to my next workout instead of dreading it. If I go 3 days without exercise, my body starts craving it, even aching for it! I feel great! I completed a sprint Triathlon on Jun 25, 2010!!

(Jul 09) I read about spark people on one of the features of the Joy Fit Club. Hoping this will be the tool I need to make a difference in my weight loss. After starting my exercise program and making diet changes in Jan, I only have 10 pounds to show for it and have plateaued. I am hoping this will give me the boost I have been needing!

Yes, I am doing the Kirkland 12Ks of Christmas! It is my first time to run it. My co-worker has done it several years and now another workout buddy here at work also signed up! I'm building my base and my overall fitness level back up after a lot of travelling June-Oct! Have you done this run event before?

Your comment reminded me that I meant to post some fall pictures in a blog, which I did (mentioned you, too emoticon ). Like I said, my pictures don't really do the colors justice, but kind of pretty just the same! I guess I'd rather have rain than snow, but 75 and sunny is my preference emoticon

So nice to see you back! Ah, the whole club volleyball thing - YUCK! I would love to see her play, but she won't play for a club that her friends are not on. I hope your fall is going well! Here in WI, it's already been quite cool - I really want to move emoticon
