Calgon take me away...I'm a newbie, I was referred by a co-worker who also struggles with weight loss. I am a very busy woman, single mom of two teens. I've become the "soccer mom" (aka chauffeur). I also returned back to school after 17 yrs. to pursue my bachelors degree. I find little time to take care of me. I have a substantial amount of illness that slow me down, but don't knock me down. An array of Dr.'s appt.s, long hours at work, and my kids sports events, and school not to mention maintaining a household take up all time. So naturally, I have bad eating habits. As a diabetic, I do consume sugar-free products, and try to eat healthy, but when I'm on the run, it just goes right out the door.
I feel with some support and inspiring motivation from my co-worker and other members, I can accomplish my goals of better diabetes management.
