My Goals:
To lose 50 lbs, and be healthier because of regular exercise.

Summer 5%:
Minimum Exercise of some sort for 15 minutes each day.

Personal Information:
I am originally from the US, currently living in Canada on the west coast. I am Franciscan Poor Clare Sister. I had a left knee replacement 6 years ago and waiting for a replacement for the other knee. These metal parts DO NOT make me function (or look) like the old Bionic Woman! At this point the exercise I can do, and mobility I have is limited. I am limited to walking, riding a bike and swimming, so I do have options. I was an Air Traffic Controller in the US Navy until 1981 when I joined the Poor Clares. I am an avid reader, love to cook and bake, as well as enjoy different types of crafts.

Other Information:
Lost 35 lbs the first year I joined, but have put it back on. Must start again!

This week’s tid-bit/”mini-challenge” Let’s LOSE THE BLOAT! emoticon

Sip a daily 16 oz cup/glass of green tea, with a little lemon juice, (or more throughout the day, if you like). Hot or cold, your choice. Green tea blocks the “bloat hormone” (vasopressin) that prompts your body to hold on to fluids, especially on hot days, so drinking green tea could be the key to a slimmer-looking you this Summer!
