Life is hectic and crazy, but its mine. I have a lifelong love of food. And I mean ANY food. I love to experiment with cuisines and flavors, so right now, I'm trying to find ways to make my favorite things w/o all the fat and calories. My Goals:
My ultimate goal is just to be fit. I may never be a size 4 (i'm 5'8") but I want to feel good about the way my body looks and my fitness level, regardless of the number on the scale.

My Program:
I started the "Body for Life" program this week. I did this program about 10 years ago and saw great results. It teaches you how to get fit (really) without spending 2 hours a day in the gym. I'm back because I got lazy and stopped exercising the way I should have, not to mention that there has been no such thing as PORTION CONTROL in my life for a while. Time to get back on track.

Personal Information:
I'm from everywhere. Your typical military brat, we moved every few years and I've continued the pattern in my adult life. I get bored with a place very quickly. When I can no longer rearrange the furniture in a different way, its time to move. I've always been a big girl, but was active so never truly concerned about my weight. After my son was born, my life changed drastically and I am no longer active on a daily basis. I am trying to change that for both myself and my son. I want him to have a healthy lifestyle and part of that is seeing his mother active.

Thanks for the idea. It's a body fat scale and it also says my body fat went up during those two days. Over the same two days I lost 1/2 inch off my waist. I'd like to think some of it is muscle gain, but I doubt that is all of it. It's just wierd. I'll see what the scale says in the next few days and decide if it's defective. And don't worry, I don't let it dictate my progress or alter my focus, but I like to keep an eye on where my measurements are heading. Best of luck with your goals.

Hi! I saw your comment on why you exercise. That's a very good reason. My mom passed away Easter this year from diabetic complications, minus amputations. So that is my reason for getting fit too. Besides I like being healthy. Do you do yoga? I do and I love it! Anyway keep up the good work and have a great spark day! brenda emoticon
