My plan is to eat the right types of food and portion size. I plan to track every bite I have and drink 64 oz. of water every day.
I also plan on walking every day to start off with. Once I shed some pounds and the knees will allow more I plan to change the workout routine.
I realize, if I want to live to see more grandchildren and be active with my family I need to become healthier. My husband is in the same boat. I do not like what I see in the mirror one bit and only I can change this, well with support from others.
A few years ago, for my birthday my husband gave to us lessons for Ballroom/Social Dancing. Oh, how I loved it. 6 months after our first class I injured my knee that has been hurting ever since. I hope by losing some weight I will be able to reduce the stress on the knee and begin to dance again.
