Doing It Again!!!

If you are looking for my original intro, it has been blogged dated 4/12/2010.

NOW: To the new stuff.

I am back from a very long break and once again, I am trying to do this again. A lot has changed since I joined sparks over 2 year ago.

For a while I was very consistent then that change. I lost my dad over this time, have picked up an additional job and now have gone from having type II diabetes to now having type I (insulin dependent). I have also joined a gyme. My weight has not been greatly affected although I am no closer to my goal than I was back 1/2008 when I tried to get back on the horse.

Overall though, I am still 65 lbs lighter than I was at my heaviest and I am trying to get that number to 100 lbs one pound at a time so please encourage me.

My Goals:
My ultimate goal is to become a healthier, leaner person but for the immediate future my goal is to lose 40 more pounds total. Was at 240 initialy upon writing this.

I also want to start eating vegetables and meat. I have never liked either one from my youth!

I originally said I wanted to be at around 200lbs (final goal) but am now evaluating if 185 would be more appropriate. I want to be in a Large size clothings comfortably.

Start Date
March 11, 2013
Weight: 229.2

My Program:
I have started the 28 day bootcamp and plan on doing it twice thru. After that I will move on to other exercise videos coupled with some gym time and other cardio activities. I am currently doing cardio 5-6 times a week.

I am drinking my share of water but want to get to 8 glasses each and every day.

I belong to a gym but am more motivated with fitness activities that are outside.

I am also logging my food intake. I am counting calories and trying to stay within the 1500 -1800 range according to my BMR calculations (and I will update that as I lose weight).

Personal Information:
I currently live in Jackson, MS and have no kids. This is my umpteenth attempt to get to my original goal of 200 lbs. I have not given up!

Yep, I've definitely been getting the exercise in lately. The cool thing is, the walking has become so routine, it doesn't even really feel like exercise for the most part, it just feels like a normal part of my day. The gym still feels like exercise though, lol. But yeah, I always have Sunday as my rest day and sometimes I'll have an unplanned rest day during the week (i.e. if something comes up with work, church, family or if I'm just plain wiped out).
