Me, 2001, in the Marines. I was wearing guy jeans, 28/30, and they were huge on me!

Me, today. Look pregnant, don't I? Well, I'm very much not so...

My fiance and I. I weigh 40 lbs. more than him. I always feel like I'm dwarfing him.

I have 4 pics in my gallery

Former Active Marine, now Actively Sedientary...

I was very active my whole life: sports, cheerleading, dancing ballet and jazz . I went into the Marines after High school. I was extremely fit and active, but getting into the "real world" after the military was a shock. I've been (off and on) working 2-3 jobs at a time, just to make ends meet and try to pay off debts. My activity level as far as exercise has severly decreased (actually, has now simply ceased), and since I'm constantly on the go, my eating habits are very poor. And what's ...
And what's worse, I don't even really like the healthy food I used to relish! Where I used to despise doughnuts, potato chips, french fries, and pop, I now find myself favoring them instead of my formerly beloved fruit, veggies, salads, and green tea; and, I can't stop! I need help!!!

I know! I feel like the wife of Jack Sprat sometimes. My fiance's pretty muscular, too, though, so I keep trying to think of how gorgeous we'll be on the beach together when I reach my goal weight!

My mom told me yesterday that my grandma still has her wedding dress! It's just a white cocktail dress from the 50s, which is exactly the kind of thing I want! My fiance's french, so we're probably going to have two little weddings, on in each country and I want something that can travel well. I'd also like something I can wear my converse with afterward for dancing :P My mom said it's a size 12, but a 50s 12 is today's 8-10, so we'll see. I was a 12 last summer, and I think between 8 and 10 would be a good size for me, so everything's going to just work out! Maybe I'll have to take it in.... !!!

Do you have wedding plans yet?
