This is crazy...

Update: In September I started a new job, was told I could possibly have kidney cancer, was told I have fatty liver disease, and that I have a 13 cm growth in my abdomen. Fast forward to today, February 13, 2014. I just had a hysterectomy 2 weeks ago, I'm off work for 6 more weeks. The growth was removed, the kidney has been checked over and is not cancerous. When I recover from this surgery, I need to get my butt in gear again. I can't cure fatty liver disease, but I can stop it from getting ...

I started going to the gym in late December 2011. Since then I've gained weight. Granted I haven't been going more than 2-3 times a week. And I fell off the Sparkpeople wagon so I was not recording my food. But what the heck? Everybody else seems to be able to eat whatever they want, they don't exercise, and yet I am the one gaining the weight. Yes, woe is me. I love food and I'd rather be scrapbooking than exercising. I just wish there was a magic pill that I could take that would just make me 154 lbs (normal range for my height) without me having to work at it. But I guess that's not the case and I have to just get my butt back in gear. I am happy that I can now do some running again with my plantar fascitiis being under control. Well, wish me luck as I climb back on this dumb wagon yet again!

My Goals:
I would like to get down to 154 lbs. This puts me in the "normal range" instead of the "obese" or "overweight" range.

My Program:
I am back to counting calories on SparkPeople.com and have had orthotics made for my runners. Despite this, I continue to have trouble with plantar fasciitis if I over do things. I have now joined a gym and am aiming to go to it 3x week.

Personal Information:
I've been married for over 17 years and am a proud mom of two girls, age 12 and 14. I'm not a huge fan of exercise, and I love food. Unfortunately!

Other Information:
I love shopping, scrapbooking and cardmaking. I also enjoy geocaching!
