I am not new to SparkPeople. A few years ago I was on here and lost 90 lbs. I am an American but have lived in the UK since 2007. Unfortunately, after a divorce and depression I gave up on myself and through a lot of emotional eating I gained back all of the weight I had lost plus more. Now I am 190 lbs from my goal weight. Unfortunately, after a divorce and depression I gave up on myself and through a lot of emotional eating I gained back all of the weight I had lost plus more. Now I am 190 lbs from my goal weight. Yes! I did say a whole 190 lbs! I have no idea how I let things get so bad. However, I have learned from my mistakes. I'm picking myself back up, dusting myself off and Im going to keep going. I will succeed because I will not let myself fail! I might not win every battle but I WILL WIN THE WAR! It is better to take many small steps in the right direction than to make a great leap forward only to stumble backward. I'm taking this journey one min, one hour, and one day at a time. This is not a " diet" , I'm permanently changing my life. If there is one thing I have learned over the many years of loosing and gaining weight is that diets don't work. Until you are truly ready to change your life for good and change your relationship with food, you will never truly be successful. Every choice you make has an end result. And I am choosing to make the right choices for my health, not only for today or for the next year but for the rest of my life.

My Goals:
To lose 190 lbs by June 2014. I am 5'9" tall. My starting weight is 325 lbs and my goal weight is 135 lbs.


Targets for BMI:

325 lbs: 48 ( Servery Obese)

270 lbs: 39.9 ( obese)

200 lbs: 29.5 (overweight)

165 lbs:24.4 (Healthy weight)

Goal weight:
135 lbs: 19.9 ( Healthy weight)


My Program:
Eat a healthy balanced diet of 1200-1500 per day.

Exercise 2 hours per day.
