My first round with Spark and getting fitter started in 2006. I had the scare of heart surgery and I was 238 pounds. I lost 40 Pounds! I felt terrific, got a new job (thanks to that weight loss and new fitness level, because it gave me the self-assurance to do that). Over a four year period I slowly managed to gain all of it back and a bit more bringing my weight to an all time high of 248 pounds because I returned to my old workaholic bad habits.

Stopped by your page while I was looking for a walking buddy near southern Middle Tn. Really enjoyed seeing your fun pics. I am close to the same weight you are. I gained mine after having a medically fragile son that took a few years to get stable. Now he is doing great and I have a lot of work!

Hi Sylvia!

Birmingham, Wetumpka, and Clanton. Where are you living in the states?

Yes, the punch stands and the WeinachtsMarkts are awesome here in Europe! This weekend in our little town will be filled with our mini one in preparation for Krampus on Monday!

By the way, I love your motto... 10% at a time! Awesome! You're almost to that 10%. Way to go!

Cheers,
Heidi

Hi Silvia,

Just saw your comment on my feed... been gone and busy for awhile. Regensburg was lovely. I didn't have enough time to really sightsee, but might go there again someday :).

Sorry to hear that quitting smoking is showing on the scale, but I must say that I salute you for quitting smoking! That is a difficult task, but an important one for your health! Good for you. Once you get it under control, you can get those pounds back off. I know that you can do it! Best wishes!

Cheers,
Heidi
