Former Junk Food Vegan

I'm 30 years old, and I've been vegan for about 7 years now, and vegetarian for fifteen years before that.

I first came here trying to right some of the wrongs in my diet and exercise habits, and it really did work. I went from 206 down to 164, and it was awesome. Then I went back to school, and I gained pounds back. I'm at 170 right now, and generally feeling pretty wretched.

Thus, I have returned! I'm here to re-lose the weight that I first gained, and hopefully ...

My Goals:
My main goal is to lose the weight that I gained from relying on eggs and dairy in college. For the moment, that translates to about 25lbs.

My Program:
After about a month of working to build my stamina up from next to non-existent, I was ready for something more intense. I joined the Sweatsuit to Swimsuit Challenge Team, and for the month of May, I am going to try to whip myself into better shape.

I got this this AM and instantly thought of you deserving one too! Once you've been given this award for a first time, you should paste it on the wall of 8 women (why 8? not sure, that's the rules as they were said to me... choose less if you really want to but, the more you give out, the more of your friends will feel special today and isn't that fun!?!) who deserve it.

If you receive some in return, you know you're really beautiful! If you break the chain, nothing will happen (I hate those sort of posts like this which promise bad things and never pass those on), but it's always good to know someone thinks you're beautiful inside and out and don't you want your lady sparkfriends to feel beautiful today?

Hi, I know how it is to be vegan but still eating junk food is one way to sabotage the benefits. This week was not very good for me as I have been eating way too many corn/potato chips which equaled +2.4 lbs this week. I am back on track and thanks for the inspiration to clean up my diet!

Congrats on losing 2 lbs this week!
