Seeing the lights in my life, in all areas-- feeling gratitude, feeling positive energy, connecting with family and friends, moving my body energetically on a daily basis (even for 10 minutes!), eating healthy to maintain my recent weight loss (and first to lose just a few more pounds...).
My goals are to work regular fitness into my daily life on a VERY regular basis-- looking for a full year 'streak' of fitness activities. Looking forward to finding and utilizing all the many daily opportunities in my life to enhance my overall fitness-- using my existing exercise equipment (Swiss ball, hand weights, stretchie bands, exercise bands, yoga mat, many fitness & yoga and tai chi/ qigong DVD's...), and try out at least 4 new exercise ideas this year. Take part again in 2 half-marathon walks (Pittsburgh May 2010, and Erie September 2010), and really train effectively before hand so that I'll really be ready-- want to 'break' the 3 hour 'sound barrier'! I also want to continue doing regular stretching and qigong/tai chi work for deep relaxation and rejuvenation. Using EFT to help me focus in on my goals. Continue working to improve my eyesight in natural ways. Spread the Spark to friends and family. I also set a goal of going to bed by 11:00pm and getting up to my alarm promp
Joined the new 2010 January Bootcamp to jumpstart my program. Tracking my indoor cardio (walking, spirited 'aerobic creative dance', heavy hands aerobics, etc...), outdoor walking, using my various strength-training home exercise tools, and remembering to do regular stretching. Daily use of EFT to help clarity and keep focused and 'revved up'. Doing daily vision 'adventures' to help me regain greater clarity in my eyes and mind. I'm making a 'SparkStreak' personal goal of establishing a regular bedtime and rising time.
58 year old mom of 4 grown kids, and grandmom of 4 wonderful grandkids. Live in western PA, on a lovely rural farm, with terrific hiking paths for long walks (in nice weather!). Very involved in our synagogue; love to sing and chant Torah and learn Hebrew.
Have completed 6 half-marathon walks in the last 4 years-- a major feat for me! Loving feeling more energetic and much less 'achy' :-).

Thanks for the comment on my 2011 goals blog.
I think it's neat that you spent New Year's Eve at a Square Dance. I learned how to contra dance (and eastern style squares) as a kid trailing after my Dad. It would be great if we could find a dance or a festival midway through PA and use that as an excuse to meet in person.

I don't know how you found me, but thank you, thank you, thank you. Will definitely try the tapping thing. I HAVE been getting electric treatment by my chiropracter (a friend), and it helped tremendously, but I think that the tapping my tap into (pardon the pun) the same body healing activity.
The most good news, though, is that you've done a lot of walking since then. The thought of having my walking stopped really has had me depressed. Don't walk marathons much, but I absolutely love to walk, and do it wherever I am. Have been known to do circuits in a leaf and trash covered parking lot (smile).
