I originally joined spark people just after my second son was born in mid-2007. In the past few years I've lost about 10 pounds and trained for two half marathons. But, I had also been dealing with some post-partum depression and when I wasn't actively training for the half marathons, the weight would come back. I originally joined spark people just after my second son was born in mid-2007. In the past few years I've lost about 10 pounds and trained for two half marathons. But, I had also been dealing with some post-partum depression and when I wasn't actively training for the half marathons, the weight would come back. I have now gotten the depression under control, but find myself back up again to where I was almost three years ago - 166 lbs. So, I'm giving myself another chance at becoming more comfortable in my own skin again.

I used to identify myself as "runner," "active," and "athlete" but that is not who I see when I look in the mirror anymore. I would like to find myself again.

Hi, Welcome to Spark. Thanks for the comment and way to go with your running. Which half marathon are you planning to run in May? I'm going for the Cincinnati Flying Pig Half Marathon which is pretty laid back, focused on fun and attracts a lot more beginners than professionals, much more my speed.
