Hi! I had lost 65 pounds on Weight Watchers about 7 years ago, but gained most of it back. So I came back to SparkPeople in June 2015 trying to get back to where I was -- and then continue losing because I have a really long road to travel. So far I've lost 36 pounds (58 since my highest 2009 weight) but have had a really long "stall". Getting back to it!

My Goals:
I have lots of weight to lose. I didn't gain it overnight and I won't lose it overnight. My main goals are to "regain control", get healthier, more fit, to feel more energetic and self-confident. I want to reduce the stress and wear & tear on my body, particularly my knees and feet. I'm confident that weight loss will effect some positive changes in other areas of my health as well. I'm trying to work with a short term weight loss goal by September 1, 2017. After that, I'll set a new short term goal, etc. I am re-thinking how aggressive my goals have typically been, and how I've failed to achieve them. I need to be realistic, but I need to move forward! As they say, slow and steady wins the race! I'd rather lose slowly and "get there" than lose it quickly and then gain it all back!


My Program:
I have to get back to committing to track my food. And now that the weather is finally good I'd like to get to the gym 3 times a week and take a good walk 3 times a week.

I live in rural Connecticut.

This is approximately the 400th time I've done this. I will not give up!

    Hope you had a Happy Easter. emoticon I did and it was 72 degrees too. So pretty and had my heat off and doors open. Today it is cold,windy and raining again. Oh well, still Spring and we are lucky for the sunny days.
    I had been sick with Bad sinus for 4 weeks and thank goodness that is all better. Hope you are well. Do take care. God bless. emoticon
