This is my quest to fit into a smaller pair of jeans. In January of 2007 my husband began his journey to healthy living. As a family we cut out sugar and fat from our diet. In April I began the exercise routine at the gym. Since then my husband and I have BOTH lost 35 pounds. Paul even ran in a half marathon in February '08. The only thing they are doing besides their sports is cutting as much sugar and fat as possible. We have never told them to loose any weight. Our oldest dropped 10 pounds in about a month.

My Goals:
My gaol is to get to a healthy weight that is maintained by a healthy lifestyle. Between April and December of 2007 I dropped 35 pounds. Now I have the additional 30-35 pounds to go.
My Program:
My husband and I follow the Body for Life exercise program. We alternate cardio with strength training.
Other Information:
I am an Ovarian Cancer Survivor! At the age of 40 I was diagnosed with stage 1 Ovarian Cancer. Controling weight is one way to reduce the risk of additional cancer. PLEASE visit www.scovariancancer.org to read about the symptoms ad signs of OC. 65% of women diagnosed with OC will die from the cancer. ASK your physician for a CA125 blood test AND for a pelvic exam. Know your body and demand these at your yearly OB/GYN visit. Contact me if you would like to talk more about OC and how to live / deal with it.
