For the first time I am doing this for me.

I am 60 years old and have always taken care of everyone else except for myself. Starting this day forward (07/13/2013) I am going to start taking care of myself so that I can be there for others.


In the past I tried to do so much at one time and set myself up for failure. I have learned that you have to take one step at a time and one day at a time. I want and deserve to be healthier. I can and will do this.

My Goals:
My short term goal is to drink more water, eat more fruit and watch portion control.

Next, goal is to start an exercise plan and to lose 15 lbs over 3 month.

My long term goal is to lose 85 lbs.

My Program:
1.) I am going to start a journal and keep track of my food (measurement) and exercise preformed and check them off as I meet these goals.

I am going to take it one step at a time and one day at a time so that I do not set myself up to fail.

I have 3 daughters, 7 grandchildren, 5 brothers,and 4 sisters with lots of nieces and nephews.

I have work as an RN for the same hospital for the past 32 years.
