I've found that "giving up the struggle" happens when you just let go of the urgency and tell yourself, "So what if I don't lose twenty pounds this month? I know it's going to happen. Everything will still be okay if it's only ten." I've also found that getting happy now is extremely important -- take care of yourself and love yourself NOW, and all will flow into your life.
